Your responsibilities

  • As Human Resources Manager you act as a strategic partner in Gdansk.
  • You will help to develop, support and oversee all main areas of the Shared Service Center, as well as to transform key business challenges and issues into HR demands. Your goal is to find satisfactory solutions for all parties involved.
  • You desire a culture of diversity, trust and mutual responsibility across our global organization, all with the aim of ensuring the most motivated, engaged and knowledgeable workforce.
  • You will primarily focus on themes such as staffing, scheduling, talent strategy and –management, training, development, labor relations and compliance.
  • You work together with the regional leadership team to support organizational goals, use opportunities to design change processes and carry them out successfully.
  • You will cooperate close with the headquarter in Essen/Germany.
  • You will report to the management and lead the orientation process for new employees.
  • Beyond this, you have to take care of all locally applicable regulations and guidelines governing administrative HR processes.

Your profile

  • You have an academic degree, ideally within the (Human Resources) Management or Business Administration environment.
  • We are looking for a hands-on HR Generalist with minimum 5-7 years of generalist or higher level Human Resources / People Operations experience.
  • You have the ability to relate well and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • You have the resilience and willingness to work in a fast paced environment.
  • You have excellent communication skills and fluent language skills in English and Polish as well as good knowledge of the German language.
  • You have empathy and a "can do" attitude.
  • You are generally interested in traveling to Germany or other GSS locations.
  • Above this the perfect fit for this position will have proven ability to attract, recruit and retain candidates from a variety of sources.
