Your responsibilities

Summary:
Plans, directs and coordinates the marketing of the organizations products and/or services. Develops and executes short and long-term marketing plans and programs. Oversee advertising and promotion activities of the thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Understand significant market, application and customer trends and align investments in all areas with the company’s focus application and customers
• Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives
• Proven ability to design, develop and implement both strategic programs and supporting tactics.
• Thorough understanding of branding principles and tactics through multimedia including the web.
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities with tight timelines and high client expectations
• Identify, plan and manage the organization’s advertising, promotion and publicity activities, including print, electronic, direct mail, tradeshow activity, web and direct marketing, promotional items, sponsorships, etc.
• Propose, evaluate and manage financial aspects of the marketing department including budget and investment planning
• Establish marketing goals targeting share of market and profitability of products and/or services.
• Initiate market research studies and analyze finding; research and analyze economic feasibility aspects of proposed projects
• Evaluates marketing reactions to advertising programs, merchandising policy, and product packaging and formulation to ensure timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions
• Acts as company spokesperson - Communicates with outside media and advertising agencies.
• Travel to tradeshows, races and customers several times a year
• Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace. Advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting Near Misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE and encouraging others to do the same

• Ensures compliance and safety of all activities within the organization standards and policies.
• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Your profile

Qualifications & Experience
• Experience in a high performance fast paced automotive industry with technical automotive knowledge preferred
• Thorough understanding of the U.S. automotive aftermarket preferred
• Ability to utilize related research resources, create forecasts, research and analyze data, organize and manage projects
• Proven success within social media marketing avenues and event management
• Prior experience with sponsorship marketing
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong presentation and multi-tasking abilities required
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• A working knowledge of SAP or similar system preferred.
• Highly organized with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Exhibits integrity through fair and ethical behaviors in all activities; maintains accountability for performance
• Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational and communication skills.
• Proven experience developing work processes to improve outcomes for the team/customers
• Possesses a stable work history, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and a strong personal desire to work safely and maintain a safe working environment

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Marketing Certificate
