Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator is currently seeking a Supervisor of Talent Acquisition to lead our team in Alpharetta, GA.

 

Creates, implements and leads talent acquisition strategies and efforts to support organizational goals and priorities. This position drives and extends the company’s employment brand and continuously evaluates and seeks to improve processes, outcomes and customer satisfaction through the full-cycle talent acquisition process. Leads and mentors a remote team of recruiters to successfully identify and deliver qualified candidates to the business. 

  • Participate in the establishment of recruiting requirements by studying organizational plans and objectives; meeting with business and human resource leaders to forecast needs; and understanding job descriptions and corresponding qualifications required of job candidates
  • Leads the team in recruiting for multiple locations across the United States for field, corporate and manufacturing
  • Creates the talent acquisition strategy for the organization to most effectively source and engage qualified candidates
  • Builds meaningful relationships with leadership to ensure business alignment and create an environment of trust that allows for transparent and efficient processes, along with making presentations and maintaining rapport
  • Collaborates with learning organization to educate and train managers in the talent acquisition methodology systems, social media venues and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborates with the HR community to ensure alignment with current business needs and capabilities
  • Leads and develops recruitment team to continually improve skill sets and personal development
  • Implements best practices to attract and recruit diverse talent including use of technology, social media, community outreach, military, educational, professional organizations, referral networks and outplacement agencies
  • Ensures compliance and reporting for all federal and state specific hiring practices
  • Manage governance and standards through utilization of the Applicant Tracking System, recruitment activity metrics and related OFCCP reporting
  • Manages a recruiting organization with a highly matrixed relationship with regional headquarters, corporate headquarters and local leadership

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources Management or related area
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a recruitment/high volume HR role with a recruitment focus and 5 years proven leadership, managing, and coaching experience
  • Ability to recognize root cause of issues and to proactively develop solutions
  • Flexibility to accommodate different personalities and professional work styles
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to organize work and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
  • Experience selecting search firm vendors and negotiating contracts
  • Strong communication/collaboration skills
  • Strong relationship building/consultative skills
