Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator Corporation is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to join its Alpharetta, GA office. The SharePoint Administrator assumes responsibility for the development and production of programs and change requests of a more complex and analytical nature. This is achieved through researching, coding, testing, implementing, and documenting computer programs for various applications as assigned and implementing enhancements and changes to various applications and software.

  • Maintain a sound site navigation (information architecture)
  • Manage the homepage to maintain a proper balance of content and tools to encourage user adoption
  • Oversee authoring and proper use of online channels for official company news
  • Lead projects to improve sections of the intranet or deliver new tools through the intranet
  • Monitor and approve all user-generated content for appropriateness
  • Monitor site analytics and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) through Google Analytics and report results to executive team
  • Manage common administrative tasks in the intranet software, or liaise with IT staff around those tasks
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand their needs and involve them in gather requirement, planning and problem solving (including communications, IT, HR, risk and legal, as well as executives and administrative staff)
  • Coordinate the efforts of cross functional content owners
  • Communicate actively with all main stakeholder and user groups
  • Support intranet group owners in maintaining up to date content on the intranet
  • Provide introductions and training to users of all different levels (including average users, content owners, news authors, group owner
  • Troubleshoot level 1 and 2 service tickets via ServiceNow
  • Other duties as assigned

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business Management or related field
  • 3-5 years of working experience in Sharepoint
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent time Management and multi-taskings skills
  • Excel – Intermediate to Advance level
  • Flexibility - project direction or priority may change without notice
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint 2013 & 2016.
  • Strong Architectural knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Provide guidance, expertise, and internal consulting services on SharePoint Online projects utilizing Office 365
  • Strong Administration knowledge of SharePoint, including Search driven content / publishing, Term Store, display templates and 3rd party authentication providers.
  • Strong Solution development knowledge of SharePoint using its various built-in and 3rd party modules/components.
  • Strong Program development knowledge (i.e., developing SharePoint as a Service)
  • Strong Application/Solution Governance development knowledge.
  • Data, application and integration technical skills
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Ability to work within a fast paced, demanding environment.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Experience using the following technology: MS SharePoint 2013/2016/Online, InfoPath, MS SQL, Nintex, Sparqube, Layer2
