Your responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) of all Elevator software components: all software related to the Electrical System of Elevators globally for New Installation and Modernization such as firmware, operating system and others to run and update software in an Elevator.

  • You will be responsible for the product planning (definition of product strategy and roadmap).
  • You will translate market needs into product requirements.
  • You have the chance to lead cross-functional teams for timely delivery of product development projects to the market.
  • You will maximize the competitiveness of our active product portfolio by increasing value through continuous improvement product changes and cost reduction.
  • Moreover, you will plan and coordinate the obsolescence of the products, which have reached their end of life.
  • Within our cross-functional UP-stream team, you will overall be in charge for the execution of projects on time, on budget, on scope.
  • You will also ensure that above responsibilities are aligned with the Global Elevator Platform strategy as well as the product objectives are aligned with the Global business strategy.

Your profile

  • We are looking for a candidate with 5-10 years of experience in a similar field.
  • You have gathered more than 5 years in depth Elevator knowledge and have experience in working in a multi-national company with a global scope.
  • Furthermore, you have well founded knowledge of product marketing as well as in positioning of concepts.
  • You would bring in good interpersonal and presentation skills and you are able to work closely with your PLM peers and other Up-Stream Departments.
  • You have a good understand of the market.
  • You consider yourself as a self-starter and highly motivated person, being able to handle challenging situations whilst keeping all stakeholders on board.
  • Finally yet importantly, you are fluent in English.
