Senior Manager, Operational Excellence

Your responsibilities

The senior Manger – Operational Excellence will be an internal expert with the full range of change management tools to champion the implementation of program and will be accountable for using change management techniques to increase employee engagement to establish a culture of adoption and continuous improvement, Incumbent is expected to work extensively as an active participant as well as facilitator of teams.

The senior manager will develop collaborative relationships with teams across the programs and organization to deploy RMAS using
- Change management methodologies
- End User Training
- Communication strategies

This individual will embody the passion and desire to lead, influence and drive change in the business operations by helping team members quickly and effectively navigate from current state to future state of SAP systems

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develops a road map for change management across the assigned region and facilitates cross-functional expert teams to drive a breakthrough or best-in-class performance in people, quality, material flow, information flow and cost.
  • Develops Lean Work plan and provides direction and guidance using a hypothesis driven, fact-based problem-solving approach.
  • Leads and manages a variety of lean tools to reduce costs, improve delivery, eliminate waste and build customer satisfaction.
  • Executes on Rapid Improvement events.
  • Introduces and sustains change across region. Integrates process solutions across multiple disciplines.
  • Leads the definition, creation and implementation of Standardized training Programs to support organizational developments through the understanding of concepts and practice of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Monitors and tracks improvements made through Lean initiatives with formal reporting, presentations and best practice sharing as required. Develop scorecard/key metrics to monitor progress both before and after process redesign.
  • Assures timely completion and achievements of product/process/ solution implementation goals
  • Lead creation, management, and execution of Change Management Plans and Programs. As well end user training and communication
  • Lead assessments of change impacts (including impact analysis, stakeholder assessment, and change readiness) as well as creating communications, training programs, and knowledge management materials
  • Develop metrics dashboards to provide leadership and end-users with meaningful performance proficiency, and adoption metrics and status reports
  • Partnering with program team to apply OCM strategy and best practices to help create messaging and delivery across various stakeholder and end user groups
  • Leading a fit-gap analysis (process and solution) and end user readiness assessment of current state compared to planned future state
  • Plan, design and execute a communication strategy for internal and external stakeholder in joint partnership with PMO team

Your profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • Four year college degree (S/BA or engineering)
  • Three years Aerospace experience
  • Five plus years experience that has included utilizing Lean principles, Total quality, 5s/Workplace Organization, Visual Management, SMED, Standard work, Flow Concepts, Level Load scheduling and other problem solving CI tools
  • Ability to demonstrate solid understanding and knowledge of all Lean Principles and
  • Manufacturing Principles including Process, Information and Material Flow
  • Five plus years experience leading implementing change in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
  • Including managing remote locations
  • Five plus years experience leading rapid improvement teams, Kaizen events and/or other Lean projects.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and leading successful Kaizen events with crossfunctional teams
  • Ability to motivate tams and drive results
  • High level of statistical knowledge and the ability to apply analysis techniques to product and process improvement projects.
  • Must be able to breakdown complex situations, perform advanced analysis of complex data sets and information in order to deliver effective solutions.
