Sr. Financial Analyst

Your responsibilities

 Develops, interprets, and quantifies financial and operational analysis by performing the following duties.

Also responsible to works with program team to architect, develop, and maintain analytical reports/solutions such as building reports, designing data models, building and optimizing queries, and creating reports using data visualization tools. The role requires working closely with the PMO. functional workstream to gather and document requirements for analytical metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Familiar with Lean production concepts.
  • Familiar with manufacturing and distribution operations and activities.
  • Has good insight into numbers, trend, and other mathematical relationships.
  • Various financial and related project work as assigned. Investment/Project Analysis
  • Conducts special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.
  • Analyzes and supports special studies in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, and productivity improvements.
  • Gather and prepares variances of monthly results against plans and forecasts and analyzes current trends against future forecasts and targets.
  • Support and prepares monthly performance reporting, chats, graphs, and metrics as identified.
  • Interprets and allies corporate financial policies, government legislation, and accounting theory.
  • Establishes databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.
  • Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.
  • Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
  • Analyzes components of revenue, costs, and inventory using various concepts.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

 

 

Your profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and MBA (preferred) in finance, accounting, business management, or economics from four-year College or university
  • Five years related experience and/or training
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products with advanced proficiency in Excel and Access.
  • 2 years Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Access version 2003 or later. Expert in using MS Excel including Macro and VB scripting
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of relational database theory and database development knowledge.

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Certified Financial Analyst
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience with Hyperion.
  • Exposure to SAP BI Tools including SAP Webi, SAP Crystal Reports
