thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experienced Supervisor - Scheduling to join our team in Germantown, TN

This position will be responsible for the planning and facilitation of the S&OP process, as well as execution of the demand plan. Specific areas of responsibility include the monthly S&OP cycle, Demand Planning function, and the load/forecast for the MC (Supply Chain and Production). This position has 6 direct reports.

Purpose:

This role will lead the S&OP process within the business. The role is accountable for driving the S&OP process, bringing new items to market and the business supply and demand plan and financial reconciliation.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Own the S&OP strategy.
  • Lead the S&OP process as it enables strategic initiatives, OTD, margin realization, inventory targets and asset utilization.
  • Drives cross-functional business teams (including executives) to own decision making and alignment, the monthly supply and demand forecasts, leading the delivering of options, risk scenarios and recommendations.
  • Ensure the S&OP Outputs are reflected in the financial plan.
  • Responsible for maintaining a 12-month rolling demand forecast. Responsible for establishing and maintaining the master production schedule for MC Middleton
  • Leads all scheduling actions to ensure accurate and current information is available to drive material and capacity requirements
  • Identifies and implements opportunities for improvement and efficiency in scheduling practices
  • Ensure KPIs and metrics are accurate and shared with the business in a regular, timely fashion.
  • Drives the S&OP process to ensure gap-filling initiatives are provided to ensure delivery of the budget.
  • Oversees development and standardization of S&OP policies, processes, and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain best-in-class understanding of industry best practices.

Your profile

  • Requirements: 4 year in Business or related field
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Prior S&OP experience
