Head of Manufacturing Product & Process Engineering (m/w/divers)

Your responsibilities:

  • You play a central role and have responsibility from machine installation until final release.
  • You take an active lead in preparation and proceeding of internal and customer product/ process reviews.
  • You are responsible for installing and maintaining KPI’s for machines and processes.
  • Moreover, you make sure, that product and process design and customer requirements are invariably kept.
  • You support the series development team with change management, new product introduction or continuous improvements like efficiency increases.

           Support growth in aftermarket (AM) and original equipment (OE) business

  • You are responsible for development and implementation of new AM products on the existing production lines with the MPP product engineering team.
  • Also you develop production concepts and ideas to successfully support upcoming OE acquisition projects for the plant San Miguel de Allende.
  • Lastly, you ensure ongoing standardization in design and process with improving the existing tool box for product and process.

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed a Master of Engineering degree for process engineering or comparable studies.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience you have gained in automotive industry and process development.
  • You are solution-oriented and assertive regarding the interface between product design requirements and process needs.
  • You have a high technical competence in hydraulics, valve technology and different metal forming processes.
  • You are familiar with the norms and standards of automotive industry.
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken), additional skills in German and Spanish are a plus.
  • You are willing to travel for business purposes.
  • Disciplinary leadership and very good communication skills complete your profile.
