Spare Parts Engineer

Your responsibilities

Position Overview:

This position provides/evaluates Technical Packages, Concept Development, Sourcing/Pricing
Improvements, and Technical/Commercial Support for Spare Parts Opportunities in order to meet our
Client's Need for repairs, upgrades, failure/outage recovery, and production issues.
Client interaction, including some Travel, is key to creating a relationship of Trust and Confidence with our
clients.
Execution includes working in a Team environment for coordination/communication among Staff,
Vendors, and Clients to produce professional results. A self-starting individual with a creative mindset will
find this role to be as challenging and rewarding as they desire to make of it.
This position is considered to be full time.
The Spare Parts Engineer reports directly to the Manager of Spare Parts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support and coordinate with Manager of Spare Parts
  • Interact with Client's (and their representatives) to analyze needs I develop scope
  • Coordinate efforts with Sales and Service Teams
  • Interface with fabricators, vendors, engineers, quality assurance team, etc.

Utilize internal processes and practices:

  • File Management Systems (current and archival)
  • Processing Program (SAP), Project Tracking Program (SharePoint), etc.
  • Drawing and Engineering Standards (European/Metric & USA/inch)
  • ISO & Company Procedures
  • Assists Team Members
  • Technical Information Support
  • Product Scope development and definition
  • Travel -Some travel involved (airline I automobile)
  • Client Facilities I Construction & Mining Sites
  • Vendor, Supplier, & Manufacturer Facilities
  • Safety I Training
  • Follow MSHA (Mining Safety & Health Administration) regulations (on-site)
  • Wear PPE (personal protective equipment) as required on-site
  • Must be able to safely perform duties of climbing stairs/ladders, crawling, lifting, etc.
  • Must satisfy screening/certification requirements for:
  • MSHA, Site-Specific, etc. Safety Training
  • Drug testing, background checks, etc.

Required Education:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
(or equivalent experience upon review

Desired Experience:

  • AutoCad and 3D modeling
  • Mechanical Aptitude I Experience Required (Industrial Machinery applications preferred)
  • Hydraulic, Automation, and Electrical experience or knowledge is considered a plus

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential due to the national I
