Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Aerospace NA is looking for a Coordinator Trainer that will work under the general guidance of the Corporate Training Manager and Human Resource Manager, reporting directly to the operational Plant Manager. The Coordinator Trainer will act as the Human Resources liaison between corporate and local branch leadership, ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal regulations concerning employment. The position will also facilitate, monitor, and report training programs in addition to providing input into the development of basic training material, job aids, and employee training plans. The Coordinator Trainer may have logistical responsibilities regarding training and human resources. The position will assist in other tasks or projects as assigned.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist with human resources functions, policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance with company, state, and federal regulations
  • Manage employee head count and organizational chart, actively ensuring that personnel changes are reflected and kept up-to-date
  • Respond to inquiries regarding human resources policies, procedures and programs
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude towards the Group Mission Statement and company goals
  • Prepare notices and related documentation regarding employee on-boarding and employee termination
  • Facilitate employee wellness events that instill a strong, positive work culture and environment
  • Oversee all operational training and ensure requirements are satisfied
  • Organize and maintain branch training records for all employees
  • Provide leadership, coaching, formal & informal training in support of on-going initiatives
  • Identify training and development needs within the organization
  • Create and develop training plans on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis
  • Partner with operational managers to identify specific training needs and works with Corporate Training Manager to design required training

 

Your profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • Knowledge of HR-related state and federal regulations required 
  • Strong communication skills; the ability to change communication style to relate information in a variety of ways based on the learner
  • Ability to read and write business-related correspondence proficiently
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and work independently

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Relevant work experience in Human Resources and/or Training
  • Knowledge of adult learning principals and teaching techniques
  • Knowledge of HR operations and administration
  • Experience in facilitation, course delivery, or other public speaking to groups of all sizes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
