The Industrial Solutions business area of thyssenkrupp is a leading partner for the engineering, construction and service of industrial plants and systems. The Chemical & Process Technologies business unit combines decades of experience in the engineering, procurement, construction and service of chemical plants. Our product range includes leading technologies in the fields of fertilizers, electrolysis, polymers, base chemicals, high-pressure solutions, coke plants and refining as well as innovative storage solutions for the growing renewables sector. Based on a unique combination of engineering experience, project management expertise and leading, resource-friendly processes, we develop customized solutions that enable chemical manufacturers around the world to enhance their efficiency and competitiveness.

Your responsibilities

In your role you are an integral part of the offer team for our Third Party Technologies and the key link between the offer management and our internal disciplines. You are also the technical representative for all internal and external stakeholders and bear the overall responsibility for all our engineering activities. In detail this includes:

  • You plan and structure the engineering activities of our offers.
  • You define the work packages in cooperation with our subsidiaries and partners.
  • You coordinate all engineering activities with internal disciplines as well as subsidiaries and partners.
  • You steer and control all engineering activities with regard to cost, time and quality.
  • You manage our internal processes and interfaces.

Your profile

  • You have a degree in technical chemistry, process technology or mechanical engineering.
  • You have gained several years’ experience in project and order execution in the EPC business, preferably as a Lead Engineer.
  • You have very good English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Due to our international multi-office projects you are willing to work on temporary assignments abroad.
  • You have a convincing personality with excellent negotiation skills.
