Your responsibilities

Hands-on SAP subject matter expert, demonstrates thorough knowledge of defining and managing SAP project lifecycles (i.e. implementation and upgrades) that meet engagement objectives and budgets, including the following: integrating data points and using appropriate modeling methods to express future state requirements in both business and software terms; troubleshooting issues and recommending alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements and the use of standard templates and tools. An ability to think strategically and act tactically.

Position Responsibilities:

SAP applications management, leading technical and functional resources, SAP solutions design (standard and custom), ABAP development, debugging, EDI development, functional support for SD, MM, PP, WM, IM, QM, user training, documentation, LSMW, project lifecycle management, compliance and security management in SAP (GRC), vendor management and relations, liaison between business and technical IT resources, global collaboration, team professional development, budget management.
Selection Criteria:
• Prior experience leading teams.
• 5-7 years of SAP experience as an implementer, developer, and/or analyst
• Experience in manufacturing. Automotive preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a developer or lead developer
• Knowledgeable in Service Management Standards, e.g. ITIL, COBIT, etc.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional/technical designs and into project blueprints
• Functional expertise of multiple business processes and SAP solutions related to these functions including manufacturing, customer service, logistics, finance, procurement, and planning.
• Strong functional knowledge of SD, MM, PP, and WM modules with emphasis on WM as well as experience with iDocs
• Knowledgeable of SAP best practices in ABAP, Netweaver development including development standards, change control and version management processes
• Understanding of and experience with SAP security and authorization management (GRC)
• Proven direct experience with supporting business change using system functionalities and major SAP modules
• Knowledgeable in the interdependencies and integration points between SAP modules
• Experience in developing project plans and individual work plans to complete configuration and business process
• Experience in developing / implementing test strategies (Module-, Integration- User-Acceptance and Stress-Test) and experience in developing training materials, documentation

Your profile

Educational Requirements:
• BS in Engineering or IT

Computer skills and knowledge of hardware & software required:
• ABAP, ECC 6, ABAP OOP, RF and mobile technologies, Barcodes, label design, RFID

Certifications & licenses:
• SAP certification, PMP are a plus
