thyssenkrupp Airport Systems is currently seeking an experienced Shipping Admin to join our world class team in Fort Worth, Texas .

Your responsibilities

OVERALL POSITION PURPOSE:

 Responsible for assisting the Shipping Team to ensure all shipping requirements are met. This includes controlling and maintaining all shipping documents, fulfilling all field part requests, and maintaining good working relationship with Project Management and Shop Supervisors.

 

CORE TASKS:

  • Responsible for fulfilling the Field Part Requests and QOD Shortages to the field in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for preparing documents for shipping inside and outside the country; includes printing documents and labels for shipments.
  • Must be available to help with the packaging of Bridges and Components to ease the work flow of department
  • Participate in weekly meetings with Procurement.
  • Responsible for controlling and maintaining all shipping documents.
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment with Project Management and Shop Supervisors, enhancing communication and production efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION HOLDER:

Expert Know How/Knowledge:

  • Efficient in MS Office, SAP, Typing and Data Entry.
  • Experience with UPS and FedEx Shipments.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish/English, a plus but not required.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and assignments.
  • Ability to lead processes and people towards effective and efficient operations.
  • Proven interpersonal and employee development skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Possess strong discipline to provide accurate and timely data
  • Impeccable attention to detail, effective problem solving skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast pace environment.
  • Ability to work well with a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time – accurately, efficiently and effectively.
