Process Engineer

Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the
workplace. Advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting Near Misses and/or
other
safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE and encouraging others to do the same
• Directs and coordinates with machine tool manufacturers to determine appropriate equipment and
specifications
• Interfaces with Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, Product Engineering personnel to assure timely
production support
• Development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and
production equipment
• Develop and maintain standardized operating instructions
• Conduct time studies for manufacturing processes
• Direct and coordinate equipment modification and installation
• Consult with Product Engineering to determine optimum tooling and processes
• Plan and implement workplace layouts to optimize process flow and efficiency
• Data driven problem solving approach including a root cause analysis skill level
• Ensures compliance and safety of all activities within the organization standards and policies
• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Your responsibilities

5 years of experience
• Automated assembly process experience
• Solid understanding of Lean Principles (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED)
• Ability to comprehend drawings and GD&T along with some awareness of CAD software
• Experience with coordination and presentation of technical data and information to key component
suppliers & customers
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one & small group situations to Customers, clients,
& others
• Proven ability to read and interpret customer specifications and industry standards
• Self-starter and able to work without day-to-day direction
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong project management skills with proven ability to plan, monitor, and control a project from start
to finish ensuring everyone meets their deadlines
• Strong Business Acumen
• Solid Project Management skills and experience
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; yet, able to perceive needs and work independently
• Strong analytical ability to analyze and solve problems
