Your responsibilities

  • You will plan the global manufacturing strategy for specific elevator components aligned with the global product strategy.
  • You will coordinate make or buy analysis to ensure the implementation of the best manufacturing set up along MPP (manufacturing planning process).
  • You will select the production technology and processes including best practices within the group to implement this manufacturing strategy.
  • You will review and direct investment funds into the right direction supporting this long-term strategy.
  • You will conduct in-depth discussions and negotiations with relevant machine tool suppliers in order to define best matches in machine performance and supplier service.
  • You have the chance to lead expert project teams to align them within the strategic goals of the Elevator Group.
  • You will ensure continuous knowledge exchange and transfer of best practices across several Operating Units and geographical territories.

Your profile

  • You have completed a technical university degree
  • You will bring in at least 5 years of working experience in manufacturing related areas
  • You have a successful track record in project management over at least 5 years
  • You have knowledge of manufacturing planning, /-processes, LEAN manufacturing and CIP
  • You have knowledge of new machine/equipment procurement processes
  • You have the ability to work in a matrix structured organization
  • You are a team player and able to lead multicultural teams
  • You bring in high communication skills
  • You are fluent in English and German
