Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking Spare Parts Logistics Manager in Atlanta, GA.  This role is responsible to formally design and implement a spare parts logistics network for the USA and Canada.

  • Inbound and Outbound Transportation Program Development
    • Inbound from suppliers
    • Direct delivery to Field Mechanics via UPS drop boxes or Amazon lockers or other ways
    • Preventative maintenance parts delivery program
  • Implementation of New Central Spares Warehouse
    • Barcoding, warehouse management system (WMS) implementation, process documenting etc.
    • New Warehouse Systems and Processes Definition and Training
  • Downstream Rapid Deployment Center Network Assessment ( Same Day Select Spare Parts Deliveries to All Branches / Mechanics)
    • Determine quantity needed and locations
    • Insource or outsource analysis
  • End to End Reverse Logistics Process Design

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
  • 7 to 10 Years’ experience in logistics (Warehousing and Transport)
  • High independence and motivation
  • Superior analytical /financial skills, strong organizational /communication skills and excellent Project Management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software - especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with Internal/External Resources
  • Solid software experience – Oracle and or SAP plus atleast 1 Warehouse Management Software
