Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator Corporation is currently seeking a Spare Parts Inventory Control Planner to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for spare parts inventory control in North America.

 

  • Monitor spare parts inventory movements to thyssenKrupp’s North America field service branch, van and customer site locations
  • Ensure inventory receiving activities are completed and discrepancies corrected – overages, shortages and damage
  • Ensure inventory debriefing activities are completed upon inventory usage
  • Start and coordinate field service spares inventory cycle count program
  • Conduct periodic inventory audits onsite at thyssenkrupp’s North America field service branch, van and customer site locations
  • Generate inventory accuracy and performance metrics – weekly / monthly / quarterly
  • Work very closely with field service operations to help simplify / automate spare parts inventory control where possible

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred: Business, Foreign Trade, Finance or Supply Chain)
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in inventory planning / control
  • Strong analytical / planning and financial skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software - Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal / external resources in North America and globally
  • High independence and motivation
  • Software experience – Oracle and or SAP
