Components Technology - Our Business Area Components Technology is passionate about everything that moves. It produces components for all application areas such as front and rear axles of all Porsche models or large-diameter anti-friction slewing rings for windmill-powered plants. 30.000 employees are responsible for the success of this Business Area.

Your responsibilities

Responsibilities 

  • Monitoring and tracking of OPX measures on plant-level
  • Roll out and implementation of Business Area (BA)/Business Unit (BU) continuous improvement initiatives, programs and best practices within plant
  • Identification of OPX training needs and coordination of respective training activities in the plant
  • Initiation and support of continuous improvement measures
  • Lead of own OPX-Scan in the plant and participation in cross-OPX scans
  • Participation in on-site meetings
  • Yearly OPX group meetings (two on-site and two WebEx) 

Duties

  • Discussion of List of Problems (LOP) in the plant
  • Ensure the adherence of the measures to a time and quality limit
  • Support and coordination of the measures
  • Not responsible to implement all the measures, implementation still refers to the process owner
  • If the plant is not pursuing the OPX topics, the plant OPX manager is allowed to escalate it towards the Head of Technology, Innovation and Strategy (TIS) and Chief Operations Officer (COO)

  • English language proficiency- written and verbal 
  • Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) & solution oriented mindset – Interested in the implementation and support of CIP activities
  • Professional and methodological knowledge in Lean Management and Six Sigma
  • Knowledge in Audit Management
  • Team player, open-minded, communicative
