Your responsibilities

Summary of Position:

The Corporate Projects Intern will be primarily focused on gathering and analyzing data related to customers, markets, and competitors in order to create insights for the benefit of tkMNA.  Additionally this intern will focus on helping to develop and execute methods for data gathering, data mining, data cleansing, and customizing insights for specific audiences. The Intern will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Corporate Projects team while learning valuable skills related to project initiation and management.

The Corporate Projects Team Member will be exposed to:

  • Interaction with analyst and management-level employees throughout all divisions and functions within the tkMNA organization
  • Use of Salesforce, SAP, MicroStrategy, Microsft Azure. Microsoft Power BI, R, Python, Microsoft Office, and additional analytics tools
  • Opportunities to be creative, grow professionally and learn outside the classroom

Key Accountabilities:

  • Gather, clean, structure, and analyze data to convert it into useful information and knowledge
  • Use data gathering and analytics tools to deliver effective insights
  • Attend meetings with team members to learn and understand the business and related projects
  • Take on additional duties and responsibilities, as needed

Your profile

Qualifications:

        Required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point
  • Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited university
  • Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or any degree in the related field

        Preferred

  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of R, Python, or comparable coding language for analyzing data
  • Junior or Senior Academic Standing
