The Europe Africa Business Unit is the second-largest of thyssenkrupp Elevator’s four Business Units. Your responsibilities

  • As a Team Lead elevate PMO & Performance Projects you will define, develop and govern the project portfolio of our Operating Units from content and financial point of view in close collaboration with the local PMO Heads
  • You will track and drive the implementation of the projects in the “elevate” program on Operating Unit and Business Unit level as well as Identify needs for performance projects and challenge operational and financial progress )Structure and conduct/support performance projects on local level with a strong analytical focus and derive “hands-on” improvement ideas
  • Initiating and supporting best practice exchange between countries and follow-up implementation as well as conduct and further develop Project Management trainings to improve the project delivery quality of the organization and ensure assurance of standards is part of your daily business
  • You will communicate and exchange with the functional community to further drive the transformation
  • Day-to-day management of allocated team members within BU elevate team and evaluation for team members within BU elevate team (in alignment with Head of SMD/PMO) belongs to your function

Your profile

  • We are looking for someone with Master in business administration or engineering, or hands on expert with profound practical project management experience and Extensive experience in project management: e.g. consulting, strategy departments, PMO for large improvement programs (min. 5 years of working experience)
  • We need someone with extensive experience with management of programs and improvement projects with different scope, sizes and in different functional areas and a strong record in project management, ideally certified (e.g. PMI)
  • Strong analytical as well as conceptual skills while at the same time being able to drive implementation is very important to us as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills towards different target groups (technician to executive management) on an international stage and also intercultural sensitivity
  • We need someone who is familiar to work in cross-functional teams in an international environment
  • Very good English language skills. German, Spanish or French are highly desirable
