Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator Corporation is currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team in Atlanta,  GA.  Responsible for booking and preparing New Construction and Modernization Contract documents for execution; includes entering data in Oracle system, making copies/ scans, and issuing certificates of insurance. Must establish & maintain a professional rapport through timely response to customers, both internal and external, & Contract Analyst(s).

 

  • Partner with the company's branches across the country in setting up of all New Installation and Modernization data into Oracle
  • Able to read through contracts to determine what the terms are for retainage, PPE, and verify contract price along with correct owner & bill to information
  • Print and review all booking documents for accuracy; Ensure all documents meet the Booking Standards Checklist; Notify sales by email of any missing documentation
  • Contract Administrators are required to keep notes on all construction jobs in Oracle overlay and Excel spreadsheet so that a history is maintained for all jobs regarding booking efforts
  • Obtain appropriate approval on required Booking Package documents            
  • Partnering with the Contract Analysts to obtain sign off
  • Maintain customer data base for all New Install and Modernization jobs
  • Confirm Project Setup, enter all monies, unit details for each unit individually and verify key members along with project dates for every job
  • Verify and Baseline all Revenue and Cost Budgets for bookings
  • Attach Booking Package Documents to Oracle for internal and external audit purposes
  • Responsible for generating all requisitions for New Install jobs for Supply Chain Management
  • Communicate the booking progress to the Corporate Contract Analyst, Branch, District, and Regional personnel by email work flow
  • Prepare monthly booking report for VP’s
  • Responsibly for proper storage of executed contract files
  • Issue correspondence to customer along with Certificate of Insurance
  • Read & understand contractual requirements for preparing and issuing maintenance and repair contracts for Certificates of Insurance, through a web based program
  • Provides timely responses to all internal and external e-mail correspondence and point to point contact calls
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Your profile

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent hours of college-level coursework plus professional experience is preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Requires ability to understand general arithmetic
  • Speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations
  • Understand difficult verbal and written instructions
  • Understand data processing applications
  • Prioritizing and multi-tasking, working well under pressure while paying close attention to detail to meet month end deadlines
  • Experience working in Business to Business with ability to read and understand contract language and use this knowledge in negotiation with customers
  • Ability to handle sensitive information, maintain a high level of data entry accuracy and adhere to strict deadlines is essential
  • Individual will be able to display effective interpersonal skills with all levels of employee, as well as the ability to positively and effectively communicate, verbally and in writing
  • Must have strong computer skills, especially MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
  • Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
