The Europe Africa Business Unit is the second-largest of thyssenkrupp Elevator’s four Business Units. This regional unit handles the sale, installation and servicing of elevators, escalators and moving walks. The Business Unit’s Headquarters – thyssenkrupp Elevator Europe Africa – is located in Essen, Germany, from where it coordinates activities in Germany, France, the British Isles, Austria, Switzerland, the Benelux countries, Scandinavia, Iberia, Italy, Turkey, Eastern Europe and Africa.

Your responsibilities

You will be part of the European function ‘Group Processes and Information Technology’ (GPI), being responsible for the design, implementation and rollout of a worldwide harmonized Service and New Installation process for our Service Organization in Europe, based on our template solution at thyssenkrupp Elevator.

  • In this role, you will be responsible for the consulting of the business departments as well as the execution of Fit/Gap Analyses.
  • You will create the design and description of processes and solutions for service business and new installation business
  • A part of your responsibility will be the alignment of the solutions with the integrated ERP systems like SAP ERP, ByD or other local systems.
  • You will coordinate change requests with the global team.
  • You will have a key role in international rollout projects of our templates.
  • As a member of the GPI Team, you will be responsible for the project management of work streams or functional projects and the coordination of external consultants and developers.
  • You will be working in an international matrix organization with colleagues in US, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Your profile

  • We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • You have proven good knowledge of the service processes in a service-oriented company, as well as the integration of these processes in other systems.
  • Several years of relevant project experience would be an advantage, as well as experience in the customizing of systems.
  • You will present skills in project management methods like PMI and PRINCE 2
  • Communication strength, conflict resolution competence, and strategic thinking are fundamental for us.
  • You should further bring in analytical skills and the willingness to learn Elevator Service Processes as well as to travel and work in a global environment.
  • Last but not least, you show profound knowledge of MS Office and very good English skills
