Responsible for overall project management and communication of program execution through direct collaboration with cross functional tk Bilstein teams to ensure clearly defined timelines, deliverables, business risks, ROI and success metrics. Position Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Operations functions, satisfies both internal and external customer expectations by leading new program launches to successful completion through the identification and coordination of appropriate resources, determination of project scope, and managing and communicating project timelines, deliverables, issues, risks, ROI and success metrics.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and chair regular project meetings.Communicates with customers regarding Bilstein’s products, facilities, and capabilities.
• Monitors financial status of projects and assures that costs are invoiced or distributed appropriately.
• Develops and monitors budgets for assigned projects.
• Coordinates engineering changes through the change management process.
• Travels to customer and supplier locations and to International Bilstein facilities as necessary.
• Ensures projects align to the strategic initiatives defined for the Business by gathering appropriate information from individuals and the project team in order to make correct decisions.
• Completes accurate, high quality documentation of projects, including project schedules and plans.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your responsibilities

Selection Criteria:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent education and experience.
• Substantial experience and knowledge within the automotive industry, defense industry, or heavy vehicle industry with a history of increasing responsibility.
• Proven project management experience.
• Willingness to travel to customer and supplier locations and to international Bilstein facilities.
• Superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated record of building customer relationships and rapport.
• Strong demonstrated leadership skills to include sound reasoning and decision making ability.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
