Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experienced Business Process Manager I in Indianapolis, IN

The BPM will work with the business in the execution, measurement, monitoring and controls of the business processes. BPM will work collaboratively across all departments of the organization to help improve the management of a business process.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for collection/presentation of data in support of overall efficiency objectives of Service LOB
  • Measurement of compliance to the standards and procedures being followed
  • Support the execution, measurement, monitoring and controls for the business processes to increase the overall performance of the Service organization. 
  • Identify exceptions and deviations from the business processes
  • Follow the defined escalation path when needed, as defined in the escalation policy
  • Responsible for identifying resolution of issues with items not complying with the process
  • Performing day to day process administration and ensure completeness and integrity of information collected to conduct daily operations. 
  • Responsible for auditing of the process for compliance to the documented procedures
  • Communicating with customers, service providers, field organization as required by business process Director
  • Presents and distribute regular status updates to the Director of Business Process
  • Work with the business to gathering feedback, validating recommendations and changes to the business processes
  • Communicate and implement new business processes and/or any changes to the business processes
  • Closely collaborates with other BPMs from other lines of business and functions to enhance overall business processes 
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Engineering or related field
  • Experience in training/coaching business process
  • Familiarity with line of business (LOB) best practices
  • Strong people skills and ability to implement change
  • Excellent coaching, communication, organization and time management skills
