Components Technology - Our Business Area Components Technology is passionate about everything that moves. It produces components for all application areas such as front and rear axles of all Porsche models or large-diameter anti-friction slewing rings for windmill-powered plants. 30.000 employees are responsible for the success of this Business Area.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation of materials for various training and compliance programs
  • Maintain and manage the Visitor & Contractor Training and record keeping
  • Update and track Training Matrix for all Berco facilities
  • Create and monitor annual training schedule to include requirements communication to appropriate individuals to ensure protocol is followed
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly Safety Talks to include the review of any updates/changes and distribution to all locations
  • Assist with preparation of PowerPoint Presentations
  • Create and maintain key safety data to include things such as: Tracking Injuries – Dart Rates, Safety Incident rates
  • Recommend and implement improvements to presentations, training, etc. to continue to improve the important message of safety
  • Maintaining posting boards with Safety Information
  • General administrative support to the safety manager
  • Maintenance of First Aid Kits
  • Monitor compliance of SDS Safety Data Sheets
  • Implement and maintain binders with TK Protocols for BERCO locations
  • Assist in the coordination of Emergency Evacuation plans and drills
  • Perform the safety new hire orientation for all new
  • Participation on Incident/Accident Investigation Team, support with investigation process
  • Contribute to Trainings and company initiatives with the results of a common goal
  • Audit established Safety programs and Protocols, make changes as agreed and prepare documents for Audits, Follow up with action Plan and assigned champions

Your profile

Education:  High School or equivalent

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and all applications, including charts, e.g. Pareto, Pie, Bar Graph, more.
  • Prefer the ability to understand the training process and have the ability to speak and present in the classroom
  • Prefer and understanding of Hazardous Communication program and GHS requirements
  • Able to multi task and switch to different tasks quickly, with limited instruction
  • Require the ability to work independently when needed and to interact at all levels of the organization
