Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experienced Quality Analyst in Germantown, TN.


Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross functional departments to implement and execute non-conformance capture/issue resolution procedures, work instructions and policies across all functions within thyssenkrupp Elevator Manufacturing
  • Drive consistent and rigorous non-conformance evaluation using the established processes resulting in clear and concise summaries of product and process performance
  • Conduct scheduled non-conformance reviews to ensure the accurate and timely evaluation of reported non-conformances; establish cross functional relationships to drive efficient evaluation processes
  • Serves as thyssenkrupp Elevator Manufacturing quality team non-conformance capture/issue resolution representative for all fielded thyssenkrupp Elevator Manufacturing products
  • Prepares and presents with assistance of Quality Director the non-conformance data analysis in a regular operating rhythm determined by the business
  • Presents training materials for non-conformance capture and issue resolution to cross functional teams within manufacturing
  • Drives the consistent and reliable usage of the defect capture tools including maintaining user access, record assignment, internal record closure, and accurate record content using good documentation practices
  • Responsible for ensuring the effective resolution of reported non-conformances including reviewing corrective and preventive actions prior to record closure
  • Escalates all issues impacting the timely evaluation and resolution of reported non-conformances to upper management
  • Works as a partner with engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, service, other manufacturing support functions, and thyssenkrupp staff to insure all reported non-conformances are addressed and corrective and preventive actions are effectively and efficiently executed

 

Your profile

  • Minimum 5 years in a cross functional quality position or 5 years of elevator industry experience
  • Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent industry experience 
  • Data analysis experience preferred – compilation of data from multiple sources
  • Comprehension of elevator design practices preferred
  • Ability to read design prints
  • Prior experience in training personnel
  • Auditing experience – manufacturing preferred
  • Prior experience with field/service personnel including issue resolution and product/process enhancement
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally
  • Energizing and engaging team leader – able to drive functional support for the non-conformance analysis and issue resolution process
  • Expertise in manufacturing including welding, electronics, and machining preferred
  • Proven strong verbal and written communication skill at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results against organization goals
  • Demonstrated ability to address and resolve complex issues both technical and interpersonal
  • Shown ability to adjust tactics and methods to address changes within a dynamic business environment
