A-C Equipment Services, A Division of thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (USA), Inc., is engaged in the design, manufacture, installation and service of rotary kilns.  Our customer base includes cement manufacturers, paper mills and various other mineral and chemical processing companies located in all parts of the United States.

Your responsibilities

Perform technical service related sales functions for the tk IS location in Milwaukee, WI. The Parts Sales Engineer position focuses on selling spare and replacement parts for thyssenkrupp and non-thyssenkrupp machines, equipment, and systems. The primary market is cement, paper, and mining facilities located in the domestic United States. The person is responsible for increasing the direct to end user sales of spare and replacement parts at the assigned accounts. Parts Sales Engineer will have a quota for annual parts sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement growth plans for assigned accounts with the goal of exceeding expectations in increasing order intake and customer satisfaction.
  • Pursues long-term account strategy that maximizes the profitable sales of parts. 
  • Assists in cultivating long-term relationships with the appropriate key account decision makers. Develops a complete understanding of the organizations structure and key buying influences of assigned account.
  • Performs client presentations articulating the value proposition of our product offerings.
  • Provides management with suggestions for improving volume, market share, and profitability. 
  • Develops forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for increasing sales.

Your profile

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8 or more years of successful selling experience in cement, paper, or mining related fields.
  • Demonstrated business acumen in balancing customer and business requirements.
  • • Executive level verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Inherent motivation to work independently to increase sales.
  • Organization and time management skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel 70%.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Experience with End Users highly desirable
  • Knowledge of customers and competitors within the defined territory is a plus.
