Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experienced Manager - Coordination - NI in Memphis, TN.

This role will be responsible for ensuring that all jobs are processed correctly and in a timely manner within the Coordination department while supporting both department goals and overall regional business needs.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for planning and managing new processes for coordination, achieving continuous improvement of the process and maintaining customer alignment, both internal and external
  • Hire, train, develop and manage coordinators for maximum department efficiencies
  • Manage, analyze and maintain department performance measures
  • Manage and determine procedures and methods to ensure quality and company standards are met and maintained and problems are resolved
  • Drive process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure support, communications and positive relations with internal and external customers, other department managers and coordination team
  • Manage coordination strategies to meet company/department objectives and execute change management recommendations
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

Your profile

  • Three or more years of related experience in the elevator industry preferred including a minimum of two years’ experience of managing a professional team
  • Operational Excellence experience preferred
  • Proven focus on customer satisfaction required
  • Proven leadership skills in hiring, training, development and team engagement
  • Possess strong business acumen
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
