Your responsibilities

The position will be responsible for providing project management and Lean/Six Sigma deployment support for Auburn, WA   

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support and Facilitate the deployment of Lean manufacturing principles across the organization
  • Identify key internal customer requirements and develop cost effective technical solution (Equipment, Quality, Layout, Man power, Consumables, Storage, and IT)
  • Facilitate and support kaizen projects to increase equipment effectiveness and increase labor and equipment productivity
  • Facilitate various technical studies on movable and immovable assets to understand life cycle and reliability to make effective financial decisions    
  • Conduct gap analysis on branch capacity and develop cost effective solution to increase capacity  
  • Provide project management support for various projects like cost reduction, RFP for new business, major company initiatives etc. 
  • Support in the design of plant layouts for optimal flow and increased productivity   
  • Develop detail project plans for lean projects and support onsite Lean champion with deployment
  • Assist in project budgeting and costing to ensure most effective solutions are put in place to meet financial commitments year over year  
  • Develop learning curves for operations labor productivity to ensure long term profitability  
  • Co-facilitate in developing and deploying new lean standards and best practice across North America    
  • Assist in diagnosing operations rate readiness to meet new/expansion in SOW

Your profile

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering with strong proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and project management. MBA, Master’s degree or Ph.D. is a plus
  • Minimum 2-3 Years experience working for Aerospace OEM or equivalent supply chain organization deploying lean and managing projects   
  • Minimum 2-3 Year’s experience supporting or leading setting up of new/expand facilities 
  • Minimum 2-3 Year’s exposure to Lean Manufacturing and six sigma implementation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, office application, Excel, word, Access and ppt. a must.
