Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experienced Business Process Manager II in Dallas, TX.

The BPM II will work with the Line of Business Leader in the evaluation, execution, measurement, monitoring and controls of the business processes. BPM will work collaboratively across all departments of the organization to help improve the management of a business process

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Accountable for achieving the overall efficiency objectives of the Service line of business improvement measures
  • Responsible for the entire process from beginning to end, introducing innovation into the process that can impact results, enhance profitability and assist the organization to meet its business objectives and goals
  • Design, evaluation, execution, measurement, monitoring and controls for the business processes to increase the overall performance of the Service organization
  • Ensuring the standards and procedures are being followed
  • Identify exceptions and deviations from the business processes, as well as management of these situations by notifying the participants in the process when standards and procedures are not being followed
  • Follow the defined escalation path when needed, as defined in the escalation policy 
  • Responsible for facilitating resolution of issues with items not complying with the process
  • Performing day to day process administration and ensure completeness and integrity of information collected to conduct daily operations
  • Responsible for auditing of the process for compliance to the documented procedures
  • Communicating with customers, service providers, field organization as required by business process Director
  • Presents and distribute regular status updates to the Director of Business Process
  • Work with the business to gathering feedback, validating recommendations and changes to the business processes
  • Communicate and implement new business processes and/or any changes to the business processes
  • Closely collaborates with other BPMs from other lines of business and functions to enhance overall business processes
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Your profile

  • Branch or Service Management Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in business process training/coaching
  • Profound elevator industry in the Service & Repair business and familiarity with best practices
  • Strong people skills and ability to implement change
  • Excellent coaching, communication, organization and time management skills
