thyssenkrupp Airport Systems manufactures, installs, operates and maintains passenger boarding bridges through three companies at locations around the world:

1. thyssenkrupp Airports Systems S.A., based in Mieres, Asturias (Spain).

Your responsibilities

The Contract Recruiter , Global Functional Team - USA will be part of the Global Functional Team, Sourcing & Recruiting - USA team providing administrative, logistical and recruitment support to thyssenkrupp Airport Systems. This position will proactively pipeline and source candidates, screen resumes, update applicant tracking system, conduct phone screens, and coordinate hiring manager interviews. They will be very consultative with a strategic approach to recruiting in an engineering environment.

Position is located in our Fort Worth office (thyssenkrupp Airport Systems Inc.)

  • Execute on hiring initiatives for Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Health & Safety Finance, Procurement and other corporate function groups.
  • Experience in recruiting Finance, Procurement and corporate profiles.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and consultative recruiting partner.
  • Engage with leaders and hiring managers to define requirements, develop sourcing strategies and provide guidance throughout the recruiting process.
  • Ensure a standardized recruitment process that is efficient and service-oriented for both hiring managers and applicants, paying a high level of attention to candidate experience.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the thyssenkrupp Airport Systems business and its respective culture and needs.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams, in addition to, interfacing with HR, recruiting, sourcing, onboarding and employer branding colleagues.
  • Maintain high level of recruiting standards.
  • Keep current with market trends and candidate demographics and availabilities.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 or more years full life cycle recruiting experience in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Experience recruiting Finance, Shared Services, Procurement and corporate functions required.
  • Able to adapt to shifting priorities and be fluent in engineering concepts (i.e. C++, SolidWorks).
  • Consultative approach with strong problem-solving, collaboration, networking and influencing abilities.
  • Ability to maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility at the executive level.
  • Ability to work successfully in a regionally-distributed, virtual team model with dual reporting structures.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a complex and changing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems; Lumesse Talentlink a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
