Your responsibilities

  • You initiate and facilitate a cultural change in Health & Safety (H&S)
  • You implement new policies, procedures, standards, annual training plans in the field of H&S
  • You ensure alignment of policies (operating unit, countries) with Company Policies
  • You standardize and implement best practices within the region
  • You propose the H&S strategy to the Leadership Team and define long term goals. The aim is to establish an activity plan to achieve defined objectives
  • You lead and coordinate all actions in the Operating Unit to protect the employees in case of a pandemic crisis
  • You promote and manage internal H&S activities and support your international colleagues
  • You ensure H&S audits and inspections are performed according to the plan
  • You analyze results and key performance indicators on a regular and annual basis
  • You support the Management in the investigation of all serious accidents

Your profile

  • You have an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, specialized in Health and Safety or a Master of Science and Technology in Occupational Health and Safety
  • You have a professional certification in H&S and environmental systems
  • You are qualified and experienced in managing H&S in a manufacturing environment
  • You bring with you several years of experience as a Health & Safety manager or equivalent
  • Your consider yourself a strong communicator and influencer who likes to drive change
  • You have acquired good project management skills in process, tools and techniques
  • You possess solid know-how in international Health and Safety regulatory requirements
  • Good command of English and the ability to act in an international environment
  • You have the ability to work cross-country and are willing to travel for your work
  • You understand the dynamics and challenges of change management processes.
