The Europe Africa Business Unit is the second-largest of thyssenkrupp Elevator’s four Business Units. This regional unit handles the sale, installation and servicing of elevators, escalators and moving walks. The Business Unit’s Headquarters – thyssenkrupp Elevator Europe Africa – is located in Essen, Germany, from where it coordinates activities in Germany, France, the British Isles, Austria, Switzerland, the Benelux countries, Scandinavia, Iberia, Italy, Turkey, Eastern Europe and Africa. In fiscal 2016/2017 the Business Unit had about 15,000 employees and generated sales of 2.1 billion euros in 31 countries. Your responsibilities

  • As NI Sales Manager Europe Africa (all genders welcome) you will be responsible to identify, define, implement and follow-up corporate initiatives/projects. The position will be located in Spain, Móstoles or Germany, Essen/Neuhausen.
  • Developing NI Sales processes, selling plans and sales training actions as well as monitoring sales activity/ sale support along our Operating Units is one of your daily business.
  • You will be the Project Manager for our EAGLE Sales program (worldwide sales initiative) in coordination with other Business Areas.
  • Your tasks includes the implementation of a sales Strategy as well as negotiate and to be the contact person for KAM (Key Account Management).
  • The active participation and sales council for/with our Business Units and Operating Units belongs also to your area of responsibility. This means: yearly meetings, strategy alignment, initiatives following up, best practices.
  • Coordination with the Operating Units for SPDP Processes (Standard Product Development Process) (inputs MTOR =Market Terms of Reference/PTORs = Product Terms of Reference) plays a very important role in this job.

Your profile

  • We are looking for someone with an engineering/economic degree (Master or equivalent) or higher/specialized degree in Sales.
  • We expect 10-15 years experience in Elevator business. Thereof 5 years in NI Field Sales Management Positions.
  • You should have deep understanding of the different market needs and customer expectations in the different segments, NI Sales & Marketing (processes & tools), NI Sales activity and deep elevator product/ contract management knowledge
  • We need someone with the following skills: strong customer orientation and support/service orientation, long-term vision and short-term problem solving, dynamic and self-motivating, efficient communication
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint as well as very good english skills complete your profile. Another european language (Spanish, German or French) is highly desirable.
